Marmalade Cake Recipe

           Ingredients:

4oz/113g Soft Margarine

4oz/113g Sugar

8oz/225g Pennine Way Orange & Lemon Marmalade

2 Small eggs

8oz/225g Self Raising Flour


Method:

Wonderful Recipes Using Pennine Way Preserve ProductsGrease and line a small loaf tin (1lb. tin). Cream together the margarine and then gradually beat in the eggs. Mix in the marmalade thoroughly and fold in the flour. Spoon into the loaf tin and cook until golden brown (see right).


Cooking Temperature:

325 degrees Fahrenheit, 160 degrees Celsius, or fan oven 150 degrees Celsius.
Cooking time approx. 1 hour

 


Lemon Cheese Cake Recipe

 


          Ingredients:


3oz/85g Soft Margarine
3oz/85g Sugar
6oz/170g Pennine Way Lemon Cheese
2 Small eggs
8oz/225g Self Raising Flour



Method:

Grease and line a small loaf tin (1lb. tin). Cream together the margarine and then gradually beat in the eggs. Mix in the lemon cheese thoroughly and fold in the flour. Spoon into the loaf tin and cook until golden brown.


Cooking Temperature:

325 degrees Fahrenheit, 160 degrees Celsius, or fan oven 150 degrees Celsius.
Cooking time approx. 1 hour.

 

 

Margot's Millennium Toasties Recipe

           Ingredients:


2 Slices of Wholemeal Bread
1 Jar of Margot's Millennium Marmalade
2 Slices Wholemeal Bread
1 Jar Margot's Millennium Marmalade
2 oz. (approx.) Butter

 

          Method:

          Butter both slices of bread. Spread the marmalade thickly onto one slice and 
          make a sandwich  using the other slice of bread.
          Brown both sides of the sandwich in a frying pan with butter.
          Just the thing on a cold winter's morning!
