Nestled amongst the trees on the edge of the ‘Forest of Bowland’, an ‘area of outstanding beauty’, is one of Lancashire’s best-kept secrets – PENNINE WAY PRESERVES Country Kitchen. (Proprietors John and  Margot Humphreys). It is here that for twenty-five years we have been making Lemon Cheese, Marmalades and Fruit Conserves of the highest quality.

With the help of our dedicated staff it has always been our aim to use traditional methods and home made recipes to manufacture products without using preservatives, artificial flavours or colouring for an increasingly discerning market. We never compromise on quality – always using the finest ingredients, bought locally where possible, and cook in small batches to retain the ‘home-made’ flavour and consistency.

We have built a reputation, of which we are proud, and have expanded, gradually widening our customer base to include High Class Grocers, Delicatessens, Health Food Stores, Market Stalls, Confectioners, Gift Shops, Garden Centres and so on.
